Meet Emma
A storyteller drawn to the patterns beneath the surface.
Emma Emberwood is the pen name of Tracy Jordan, an author from Atoka, Oklahoma, now living in North Texas. Her work is shaped by small-town history, cultural memory, and a lasting fascination with patterns, discovery, and the stories that help people overcome the odds.
Her Choctaw heritage is one quiet thread in the perspective she brings to science fiction, especially post-dystopian stories, alongside travel and history projects and creative books for children. No matter the project, she is interested in the turning point: the detail that invites a reader to look again, ask a new question, or see a familiar story in a different light.
Outside of writing, Emma is a first-generation, nontraditional student pursuing an associate degree in Information Technology, with plans to continue into digital forensics. It is a path rooted in curiosity, careful observation, and a hope of helping people.
Her debut self-published book, Woven Across Time, is available on Amazon, with more books in the works.
Emma hopes every reader leaves with a sense of curiosity—and a fresh reason to look closer at the stories around them.
